Where Do You See Yourself in 10 Years? Designing Comfort Zones, Building My Magazine, and a Brewing Community, One Space and One Cup at a Time

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how far I’ve come—and how far I hope to go. Just this week, Odin’s Wisdom quietly crossed 200+ subscribers. No paid ads. No aggressive marketing. Just me, sharing stories, insights, and experiences I truly believe in—ones that have shaped my journey and might offer something useful, comforting, or inspiring to someone else.

What started as a personal space to document and reflect has turned into something more—a gentle, growing circle of thoughtful readers who are becoming friends. People who reply with their own stories, who ask questions, who send tips or tell me what helped. It’s a two-way conversation now. And I couldn’t be more grateful. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without you, and I carry that gratitude into everything I’m building next.

As I imagine the next 10 years, I see this community expanding—Odin’s Wisdom becoming more than a blog. I dream of sharing not just my designs and thoughts, but also hosting live shows, filming coffee recipes, starting online workshops, and eventually creating real-life meetups where people can connect over ideas, spaces, and yes, a beautifully brewed cup of coffee.

Still Designing—But Deeper

In 10 years, I still see myself designing. But not just physical rooms—I’ll be designing comfort zones.
Places that breathe. Spaces that make everyday life easier, lighter, more you.

  • I see myself running a small but intentional design studio, rooted in real homes, real budgets, real challenges.
  • I want to keep designing for renters, small space lovers, pet parents, and anyone trying to make peace with where they are.
  • I hope to create a design course or a mentoring circle—built from experience, not perfection.

I want my work to remain honest, grounded, and practical. A mix of expertise and empathy, not just Pinterest boards.

My Lifestyle Magazine, Evolved

I’ve always dreamed of growing my lifestyle magazine—and in 10 years, I see it becoming something even more soulful.

  • Think seasonal edits featuring calming tones, intuitive storage, comfort-driven finds, and interviews with people who’ve designed their homes from the heart.
  • A slow-living blend of interiors, routines, design tips, and sensory joys like morning rituals and the art of a well-brewed cup.
  • I want readers to come here not just for aesthetics, but for belonging.

A place where interiors, coffee, books, and everyday rituals meet. All crafted with care.

A Coffee Brewing Community: Ritual Meets Connection

One of my quiet but very real dreams is to build a coffee brewing community.

In 10 years, I want to be sharing:

  • More personal recipes—those weekend brews that become memory markers.
  • Behind-the-scenes videos of my brewing rituals, from bean to cup.
  • Live sessions and online shows that bring coffee lovers together—not just to brew, but to talk about how coffee fits into our daily rhythm.
  • And hopefully… hosting cozy meetups, maybe in bookstores or design cafés—where the air smells like home, and conversation flows gently.

Because coffee, like interiors, is about slowing down and noticing the details.

Sharing the Process—Not Just the Outcome

In 10 years, I want to be sharing more of the journey.
Not just the finished rooms, but the doubts, the decisions, the rethinking, the client conversations, the night when I finally cracked a layout after weeks of back-and-forth.

It’s not always glossy. But it’s real—and real is what I want to keep showing.

What I Don’t Want

I don’t want to build a design empire. I don’t want to go viral or scale for the sake of it. I don’t want to compromise the soul of my work to fit an algorithm.

I want depth over reach.
Craft over clicks.
Trust over trends.

What I Hope Most of All

In 10 years, I hope people will still come to me and say:

“You helped me feel at home in my own space.”
Or,
“You made me fall in love with coffee and slow mornings again.”

That would mean everything.

I want my days to stay filled with rhythm, realness, design, community—and quiet joy.
