Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.

I didn’t wake up one day and decide to become an interior designer.
It happened slowly. Quietly. One corner at a time.
How It All Started

• Rearranging My Own Space
I started by shifting furniture around at home, experimenting with layouts, and trying to make each space feel more “me.” I wasn’t following a rulebook—just instinct and curiosity.
• Hours of Videos, Magazines & Books
I devoured design content: YouTube videos, home tours, shelter magazines, and coffee table books. I wasn’t just browsing—I was studying. Every image became a lesson in flow, color, and proportion.
• Helping Friends & Family Redesign Their Homes
Soon friends and family began asking me for help. From picking paint colors to completely reimagining a room, I began treating each project—big or small—as a chance to grow and refine my skills.
The Turning Point: From Hobby to Calling

• The Joy of Creating Happy Spaces
With every transformation, I saw something beautiful: joy. The moment someone walked into their space and said, “This is exactly what I needed,” it lit something in me.
• The Belief: “Maybe This Is My Dream”
That repeated happiness and satisfaction built something inside me: belief. I realized, “This isn’t just something I’m good at—it’s something I have to do.”
Becoming a Designer Without a Degree

Building My Own Curriculum
I created my own design education. I read books on design principles, sustainability, architecture, and spatial planning. I studied national and international interior design standards.
Learning Software & Project Management
From SketchUp and V-Ray to mood boards and material sourcing—I taught myself how to design with both creativity and technical skill. I also began learning project timelines, contractor coordination, and budget planning.

Practicing on Real Projects
Every home, corner, or room I touched became a practice ground. I documented the process, took notes on feedback, and treated each project like an opportunity to sharpen my eye and confidence.
What This Journey Taught Me
Trust the Process

It wasn’t instant. But each decision, each redesigned corner, built a path toward something deeply fulfilling.
Credentials Don’t Define You—Commitment Does
I may not have a degree, but I have lived experience, practical skills, and hundreds of hours of hands-on learning—and that matters.
Design Is About People, Not Perfection

The best designs aren’t always the ones that win awards—they’re the ones that make people feel seen, safe, and inspired in their own homes.
What I’m Building Now
Continuing to Learn, Every Day
I still read. Still explore. Still learn new tools and trends. Because design isn’t a destination—it’s a lifelong education.
Creating My Own Interior Design & Lifestyle Magazine

Now I’m building something that blends all my passions—design, writing, and storytelling. A space to share what I’ve learned, the homes I’ve transformed, and the people I’ve met along the way.
You don’t need permission to pursue your calling. You just need to start. Slowly. Honestly. Passionately. Even if it’s just one rearranged chair at a time.
